GMVP Greater Mt. Vernon- Pleasant Women's Ministry

It is my pleasure to serve as president of our women's
ministry and hope that you enjoy reading the
information. Have you ever felt that God was unaware
of your world turning upside down? The disciples may
have been experiencing this feeling when Jesus gave
them this message. He had just told them that he
would be leaving them,and they were extremely
concerned.
Yet he tells them not to be troubled and gives them
three reasons why they should have peace in their
hearts. First, we are to take God at his word. When
Jesus said" Trust in God, and trust also in me." He
was reminding his disciples to trust in God's word.
Sometimes we forget to look at the entire scope of
things when our circumstances seem a bit
overwhelming. But we must remember that God
word's are true. Your difficulties are only for a short
time. When in the presence of the Lord, there will be
nothing to fear, no dying nor pain, or sorrow,
Jesus is coming back for us. He is not going to merely
send for us. He going to personally escort us to the
Father's house. Ladies have you ever been escorted ?
Doesn't it feel good? Well, our Lord will escort us and
there is nothing like being escorted by one who knows
where YOU are going. Just follow his lead. May God
