The Greater Mt. Vernon- Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Women's Ministry
2010 Women's Conference was great ! The entire week was centered upon being
in God's presence. Praises went up the entire week. The week was filled with
activities geared toward connecting women of the church and community.

The week began with the Women of the Bible Program which told the stories of
particular women of the Bible, their lives and their circumstances. Next the guests
were entertained with a play The God in Me. The play told of a woman who gave to
her community, but who had her own problems that no one knew of. Each day she
would get on her knees and pray to the Lord thanking him for bring able to give.
On Wednesday night, the Women;s Ministry introduced the Girls for Christ Program
with a skit, guest speakers and activities. On Thursday night, the Healing & Blessing
service was held followed by the Health & Fitness Expo. Michabelle's was the lovely
scene for this year's Conference Banquet. The atmosphere was marvelous, and the
guests were absolutely great! The Conference concluded with 4 sessions and
keynote speaker. What a time, what a time........
